Students will be completing a Mathematical Mindset Assessment this month to get a baseline understanding of their math mindsets. This assessment is designed to gauge each student's critical thinking skills.
Later this month, students will be completing various engineering challenges.

Math Curriculum for Gifted Students: Lessons, Activities, and Extensions for Gifted and Advanced Learners: divided into five sections: number and operations in Base Ten, operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations-fractions, measurement and data, and geometry. Challenging activities to allow students to explore the concepts in depth; practice problems; and an assessment similar to standards-based grade-level standardized assessments.
