Program Overview
Digital Scholars supports students’ academic and workforce readiness by fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and responsible digital citizenship. The program prepares students for future pathways in STEM and technology-adjacent fields while building confidence and professional skills.

Eligibility

• Grades: High School (9–12)

• Enrollment: FCPS or equivalent alternative education programs

• Experience Level: No prior coding or technical experience required

Program Focus Areas
Students gain hands-on experience in:

• Coding and computational thinking

• Engineering and STEM exploration

• Digital literacy and online professionalism

• Creative problem-solving and collaboration

Program Outcomes
Students who complete Digital Scholars will:

• Build foundational STEM and digital workforce skills

• Strengthen confidence, communication, and teamwork

• Develop a positive digital identity and professional mindset

• Earn certificates of participation and skill recognition

• Gain exposure to postsecondary and career pathways

• Day & Time: Wednesdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
