Computer Science Education prepares students for careers applying technical knowledge and skills in the rapidly growing fields of computer programming, cybersecurity, Game Development, Data Science, Information Support and services, networking, and web design. Computer Science careers are available in every sector of the economy -from Advanced Manufacturing to Healthcare, Business to Transportation and Logistics.
The Computer Programming Pathway teaches students how to design apps, create programs, and build websites while learning the latest programming languages and computer science principles. Students gain hands-on experience in app development, programming, and web design, preparing them for entry-level jobs in technology or further education in computer programming.
This pathway teaches students how to create and design websites and interactive digital content. You’ll learn how to build web pages, use digital media, and follow the standards businesses use for communication and marketing. Since almost every company uses websites to share information, connect with customers, and manage online work, this pathway prepares students for many careers and helps them build the skills needed for college or future tech jobs.

The Henry Clay High School TSA Chapter is part of the Technology Student Association, a CTSO for students interested in engineering, computer science, IT, and other STEM fields. TSA gives students hands-on opportunities to design, build, code, and problem-solve as they prepare for regional, state, and national competitions. As Kentucky’s official STEM-aligned CTSO through the Kentucky Technology Student Association, TSA helps students develop leadership and real-world skills needed for college and high-demand careers. Henry Clay TSA supports curious, creative students who want to turn ideas into solutions and skills into future success.
