The 2025-26 FAFSA is now open. All students who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents or eligible non-citizens and wish to attend Baylor in Fall 2025, Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 should complete this application.
Encourage your students to fill out the form to be considered for the maximum amount of need-based aid.
If your students need some tips and tricks for filling out the FAFSA, click here
February 1 Deadlines
Baylor's final application deadline is February 1. Admissions applications must be submitted and all required items must be in our possession to complete a student's file by February 1 if the student wants to be considered for the new class.
February 1 is also the final deadline for students to submit both their CSS Profile and the FAFSA to guarantee they will be considered for institutional need-based aid. It is imperative students submit these applications by that date. Applications submitted after February 1 will be considered based on funding availability. As they do take some time to process, please continue to encourage your students to complete both the CSS Profile and the FAFSA.
Financial Aid Timeline
Please reference our Financial Aid Timelines often, as each admission plan (Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Admission) has different dates and deadlines. To learn more about financial aid at Baylor, visit our One Stop Student Financial Services webpage.

Please remind your students that FIT's priority application deadline for Fall 2025 is fast approaching. For priority consideration, only the SUNY application needs to be submitted by January 1. I hope you have had a chance to take some time this summer to relax and recharge your batteries. Our application is opening tomorrow, and just like that, a new admission cycle begins. At FSU, we have spent the summer months preparing and evaluating our application process to make it as smooth as possible. We understand that the admissions application process can be a bit overwhelming for many, including you. Thanks to your feedback, we are making some adjustments to the application for this year:
Preferred term - Applicants can now indicate on their application if they want to be considered for BOTH terms (Fall and Summer). See below for how this is worded on the application.
Seminole Pathways Interest - Students can now indicate on the application if they are interested in learning about our Seminole Pathways options. Asking to receive information about any of these programs WILL NOT keep applicants from being considered for the Fall or Summer terms. See below for how this is worded on the application.
FSU Next Program - The FSU Next Program is replacing the Spring Transfer Pathway. The FSU Next Program offers a unique opportunity for students to start their journey at Tallahassee State College in the Fall, with the added bonus of taking a unique, in-person course on our FSU campus. More information about the FSU Next Program can be found at First-Year Admissions Decisions.
Materials Deadline – We are introducing a materials deadline for each of our application plans to allow applicants more time to submit required materials. Updated deadline information can be found in our Deadlines and Decisions section.
I am excited about these changes, and I hope you will find them helpful. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at hferguson@fsu.edu or call at 850.644.1389.
Georgia Tech's Early Action 1 deadline for Georgia students is less than a month away on October 15, and Early Action 2 for non-Georgia students is November 1. The non-refundable first-year application fee is $75 (international applicants: $85). Students who pay an application fee but do not submit an application will not have their fee refunded.
If your financial circumstances make it difficult for you to pay the application fee, you should complete the fee waiver area of the profile section of the Common Application. The eligibility criteria used for fee waivers is listed there and includes:
You have received or are eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver.
You are enrolled in or eligible to participate in the federal free or reduced price lunch program (FRPL).

Your family receives public assistance.

You are a ward of the state or an orphan.
First-generation college students: If you are a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and neither of your parents completed a four-year college degree or the equivalent in the U.S or abroad, you are eligible for a fee waiver, which you will request in the Georgia Tech questions portion of the application.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks is one of many options, but we think it's a good one for some of your students. The degrees we offer, hands-on experiences our students have (even as undergrads) and our affordability are just some of the ways we stand out.
At UAF, your students from the Lower-48 states outside of Alaska will be automatically considered for a number of scholarships. Students with a high school GPA of 3.2+ will be considered for the Nanook Pledge merit-based scholarship and Nanook Commitment needs-based scholarship when they're admitted to a bachelor's degree. Both of these awards are renewable for a total of four years of predictable financial support. Students with a high school GPA between 0-3.19 will receive the Alaska Adventure Award, a renewable four-year scholarship offered to any out-of-state student bold enough to choose UAF as their school.
If you or your students want to see UAF for yourselves, we offer a number of accessible ways to learn more about our campus and life in Fairbanks. Take a look at our Visit website, where you can register for a bi-weekly virtual information session with an Admissions Counselor or schedule an in-person visit to UAF's campus. If you'd simply like to hear a little bit about what makes UAF special, just watch our recent episode feature on The College Tour. We're excited for you and your students to learn more as they consider the call to adventure up in Fairbanks, Alaska.

First- Year Virtual Admissions Events
This fall, UD is welcoming about 1,700 first-year, first-time undergraduates, with a record 22% eligible for the federal Pell Grant, demonstrating our commitment to accessibility. This academically strong and diverse class includes students from 36 states and 36 countries, with record-high GPAs and test scores. Read more about our incoming class.
Admissions: UD’s admission process is streamlined by design — from our free application to automatic scholarship consideration — and we’re excited to introduce our new Admission Account to make the process even simpler. Our team is working through application checklist reviews in the new Admission Account, and checklists will soon be updated to show any items that are still pending. We appreciate students' patience as we work through this transition.
Students who apply by our Nov. 1 early action deadline, which is nonbinding, will receive their admission decision and merit scholarship letters as early as possible. Tip! Use a personal email address when applying — not an email address associated with their high school — to avoid losing access to their Admission Account once they graduate high school. Explore Our Admission Process »
Test-Optional Admission: UD is test-optional for admission, scholarship and honors program consideration, which gives students more control over their application. Students can choose not to submit test scores and instead place greater emphasis on their school record and other achievements. Of the students admitted to UD entering in Fall 2024, 60% applied test-optional.
Preview Days: We invite students and their families to see what’s so special about UD and join us for a Preview Day on Sunday, Sept. 29, Oct. 20 or Nov. 3. Find Out More »
Parent Co-Pilot: At UD, we partner with parents to help their future Flyers take off. During our virtual Parent Co-Pilot sessions, we’ll introduce families to UD, guide them through the admission and financial aid processes, and answer questions. Recordings are posted within a few days of the virtual webinar. You are welcome to join the event or watch the recording. We’d love for you to share the recording as well. Registration is open now for sessions on Oct. 14 and Nov. 11. View Co-Pilot Events »

The University of Rochester Multicultural Visitation Program (MVP) offers a campus visit for prospective students from a range of backgrounds and allows them to experience Rochester on a more personal level. All seniors in high school studying in the United States are eligible to apply for MVP regardless of immigration status.
Prospective students who are accepted to MVP receive free travel to and from Rochester, a two-night stay with a current student host in a residence hall, and specialized MVP programming on top of Research Rochester (Open House) sessions. The fall 2024 MVP experience will be held Thursday, November 7 - Saturday,
November 9.
Which students could be a good fit for MVP?
Students who financially might not otherwise be able to visit campus. Students can define this for themselves – we do not require proof of family finances for MVP.
First-generation college students and others who have questions about the transition to life on a residential campus.
Students who are committed to a broad definition of diversity, equity, and inclusion who want to interact with Rochester’s wide array of affinity groups and departments that offer support.
Students who are genuinely interested in the University and are an academic match. We hope this program helps attendees evaluate their Rochester fit. Students who apply to MVP are demonstrating interest, which is a component of our holistic admission application review.
Students who attend school anywhere in the United States – we will purchase round-trip plane tickets for those coming from further away, offer a seat on a reserved New York City Charter Bus, or work with local students on their visit plans.
How to help your seniors apply for this selective opportunity?
Deadline is Friday, October 4 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Decision notifications will go out in one batch by October 16.
We require an unofficial transcript upload and for them to write out their senior courses.
There are two short essay prompts. They are unable to save in the form, so we recommend they prepare the responses separately and seek revisions before returning to the form to submit.
We are excited to invite your senior and junior students to Honors Preview Day at Western Kentucky University on November 11, 2024! This event is a great opportunity for students to explore the Mahurin Honors College, meet current honors scholars, and learn how we support academic excellence and leadership development, and attend a mini-honors class to see what we're all about. We recognize some school districts may be closed in observance of Veterans Day, but not all, so we don't want to encourage students to skip school for the event.
Please share the link with your students so they can register for this unique experience: WKU Preview Day | Western Kentucky University. They and their guardians on record will also be receiving a communication related to this event shortly. We appreciate you all being another cohort of support for your students to share our invitation.
