Welcome to the Frederick Douglass High School Virtual Career Center!  The virtual hub is designed to connect students with local employers who are interested in recruiting goal-oriented students who are ready to join the workforce.  In addition to providing employment opportunities, we want to make sure our students are adequately prepared.  Students have access to career exploration resources, tools and workshops.

C++ Programmer

Many of today's popular desktop, web, and mobile apps were developed with the C++ programming language. With software development roles expected to continue growing, learning C++ is an important first step to a career in computer science. DENTAL ASSISTING RADIOGRAPHY

Together, our Dental Radiography Safety and Technique classes satisfy all state requirements for dental assistants. COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE TRAINING

BCTC's CDL training program will prepare you for a career in transportation with the skills necessary to earn a full CDL license. Students who complete the program will earn the CDLA I Certificate. This CDL program meets all the requirements for entry-level driver training (ELDT) set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
