Elementary Nintendo Online Accounts

In order to have access to a free Rocket League, Just Dance 2026, and any other virtual cards, you will have to create a generic personal gmail account that can be used. This way, if a coach does not remain at a school, that account can be easily transferred to another coach and remain on that Nintendo Switch.
It should follow this structure: SchoolAbbreviationEpicEsports#@gmail.com. Example: ACEEpicEsports1@gmail.com
- If a recovery email is required, please use fcps.oit@fayette.kyschools.us.

Submit your generic school esports account and password to OIT Here.

Note: If using an original Switch, you will need to purchase a Micro SD card with at least 256gb of storage.

Don't Skip Training

In order to master your skills, spend extra time training and practicing your different moves.
There is a training mode or you and your partner can enter an offline 2 v 2 with no bots. You and your partner will be alone in the match arena and are free to practice.
You can also change the level of the bots. The only way you get better, is to play against better players. When ready, adjust the difficulty to Pro or All-Star.

Camera Shake

Before the match begins, make sure you change your camera settings. Click the + button to pause, then select Settings.
Tap the R button to move right to Camera Settings.
Uncheck Camera Shake.

Ball Cam

During game play, remember you can turn on and off the Ball Cam by hitting the X button.
This changes the camera to always track the ball so that you can see it in relation to your car.
Hit X again to turn it off if you would rather see the front view of your car.

Double Tap B

One tap of the B key makes your car jump.
2 quick taps and pushing your joystick in the direction you want to go will give you a more controlled launch and recovery.

Stop Reversing and Start Sliding

When you first begin playing Rocket League, most players want to press the ZL button to reverse. This method works, but is very slow to correct your positioning.
Instead, use the Y button to slide/drift to pull a quick U-turn.
