Car Settings
When choosing your car, if you press the + button, you can see the stats of your setup.
Also on this screen, your can turn on/off Auto Steer and Auto Accelerate. You must check this before game play begins.
Auto Steer- when on, car will be automatically kept on the track reducing the risk of falling off. However, it does not allow more experienced players to take short cuts.
By toggling the top LEFT button, you can turn auto steer on/off.
Auto Accelerate- when on, car will automatically accelerate. You will not be able to reverse or stop. This can be problematic if stuck in a tight spot.
By toggling the top RIGHT button, you can turn auto accelerate on/off.
Starting Initial Boost

During the race countdown, you can get a starting boost by holding A as soon as the countdown reaches the 2.
Be careful though, if you hold it too early, you will wipe out and be left behind.
Trick Jump Boosts
Trick Jump Boosts
Performing tricks while going over ramps or bounce pads. By hitting your top RIGHT button, also known as your Drift button, your car can perform a trick jump which also gives you a boost!

When taking on a turn, you can perform a drift. By holding the top RIGHT button and steering your joystick either right or left, your car will start to drift.
The longer you can hold the drift, the bigger your turbo boost will be!

Shortcuts
Every track has one or more shortcuts that can cut off time from your race. Watch YouTube videos for different tracks and then go practice them.
Can only be done if Auto-Steer is OFF.
