I photographed the Adv. Culinary Arts students during one of their cooking competitions last month. This event was more of a practice round where they competed against each other, but with our school's Business Partners and alumni as judges. I shot this image with a Canon SLR1 with a Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-300mm. I stood across the room so that I would not interfer with the competition while still getting good shots. Because the action was fast paced in the kitchen, I set my ISO to 3200 and my overall setting to Program. The photo ended up being used for the school's Facebook page to promote the culinary pathway. I did not use any filter and no photo editing was done.

This was a picture I took last year during our IT Academy showcase. This was the first time I went around photographing pictures for the school. The subjects of the picture are two of our programming pathway students (the ones that are sitting) and the man standing is one of the school's business partners and the owner of FusionCorp. I shot this picture with a Canon SLR1 with a Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-300mm. I set the ISO to 1600 and I had the camera set to the Program setting because there were people walking all over the place and I needed to be able to get a mostly empty background whenever i got the chance. This photo ended up in our 2017-2018 school yearbook. I did not use any filter and no photo editing was done.
