The photograph represents a state of anxiety and hopelessness. The light and blurs represent overthinking whilst the hands represent societal pressures reaching out to make things worse. The person in the center is overwhelmed by all of the things happening around which exemplifies the state of dysphoria.

This photograph was taken as one shot with no Photoshop editing. I used the flashlight app on my iPhone, a piece of red tissue paper, and movement. I took advantage of a slow 30 second shutter speed and an aperture setting of f/5.6 to create a nice blur effect and harsher bright lines. I used an ISO of 100 and white fluorescent white balance.
