What are your top three priorities for enhancing economic growth opportunities throughout the city?
The top priorities for enhancing economic growth opportunities throughout the city are. Identifying the current
state of our city. Using this information to create a vision that is in alignment with the citizens and community.
Allowing for opportunity and change. Creating a solution that citizens want and need. Attracting and retaining
these businesses. Evaluate if there are any improvements and make adjustments accordingly.
What are the most pressing issues facing the City of Fayetteville? How will you work to solve them?
Our most pressing issues within our city are safety, education, and opportunity. All three are interconnected.
Creating a safe environment for both citizens and business owners. This will help to encourage new
businesses and industries to want to come to our city. These opportunities will encourage citizens to want to
stay within our city. Allowing them to create a family and sustainability. Education is crucial to creating a much-
needed environment for this to happen. Creating an environment of new ideas and fresh talent. Allowing us to
overcome any obstacles that we face now and in the future.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the City of Fayetteville?
I think I am the best candidate for the city council for District 8 because of the following. I was raised here. I
have seen many of the changes and challenges that have impacted this city. I went to elementary school,
Cliffdale Elementary, middle school,Lewis Chapel, high school, Seventy First, and college Fayetteville State
University. This city has seen much development over the years, many great changes; however, we still have an
opportunity for improvement. I believe in change and being able to overcome obstacles. This city has many
challenges. I am willing to make to overcome these obstacles to improve our city now and in the future. I
believe in this city and what it can become. Change starts with one step, and this is my step.
