What are your top three priorities for enhancing economic growth opportunities throughout the city?
In order to strengthen economic growth throughout our city, we must focus on three key priorities. First, we
will support and expand opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs by streamlining processes,
offering incentives, and providing access to resources that help them thrive. Second, we will prepare our
workforce by partnering with schools, trade programs, and Fort Liberty to ensure our residents have the skills
needed for high-paying jobs in growing industries such as healthcare, technology, and logistics. Finally, we will
invest in infrastructure improving roads, and revitalizing key corridors to attract new investment like the
eastside of Fayetteville and other areas in district 2, and open doors for future opportunities across every
neighborhood in our district.
What are the most pressing issues facing the City of Fayetteville? How will you work to solve them?
One of the most pressing issues facing the City of Fayetteville—and especially District 2—is code enforcement
and beautification. Too often, we see areas neglected, and it impacts not only how our neighborhoods look,
but also how they are valued and respected. I am committed to continuing the fight for more code
enforcement officers, ensuring that our corridors, neighborhoods, and business areas are kept clean,
welcoming, and inviting for residents and visitors alike.
Another challenge is unfinished projects. Too many times, projects start but aren’t completed on schedule,
leaving residents frustrated. I will keep pushing for stronger accountability and improved processes so that
when we start a project in District 2 or anywhere in the city we see it through to completion.
Finally, we must continue to invest in our youth. The safety and future of our young people is vital, whether
that’s ensuring they are safe and providing opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and positive
engagement. If we don’t invest in our youth today, we limit our city’s growth tomorrow.
Together, by focusing on enforcement and beautification, project accountability, and youth investment, we
can address these pressing issues and move Fayetteville and District 2 forward.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the City of Fayetteville?
I believe I am the best candidate to continue representing District 2 on the Fayetteville City Council because I
have already been faithfully serving in this role and proving my commitment to our community. I have been
highly engaged with residents—listening to their concerns, showing up for community events, and making
sure their voices are heard at City Hall. I remain attentive and active in council meetings, always putting
District 2’s needs at the forefront of discussions and decisions. I am accessible and available to our residents
because I understand that true leadership means being present and responsive.
Most importantly, I already know this job, and I know what is expected of me: accountability, trust, and results.
I have been delivering on those expectations, and I am prepared to continue that work with even greater
energy and focus. District 2 deserves someone who is not just learning the role, but someone who has already
been walking it out—and I am honored to keep doing exactly that.
