All the Acronyms

GT - Gifted and Talented (95% or higher on 3 data points to create a body of evidence)

HGT - Highly Gifted and Talented (a score of over 95% on a cognitive test plus other qualifying data)

ME - Magnet Eligible (a score of over 95% on a cognitive test, no other qualifying data yet)

2E - twice Exceptional (i.e - having ADHD and being HGT)ALP - Advanced Learning Plan

Talent Pool - students having 1 or more scores over 95% and being monitored for other data points to be identified

SIGS - Scales for Identifying Gifted Students

NNAT - Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test

NGAT - Naglieri General Ability Test

CogAT - Cognitive Abilities Test
