Geography
Geography is taught for three lessons a fortnight and the aim in Year 7 is to develop an appreciation of Geography as a subject that is both fascinating and dramatic. As students learn to observe and evaluate their surroundings, they will discover how Geography affects them, their own environment and future wellbeing.
Geographical fieldwork secures high quality learning and plays a significant role in our curriculum. The stunning grounds at Farlington are also used for students to practice navigation skills, as well as investigate our sense of place. Visits to stimulating environments, such as East Head Spit in West Wittering is undertaken in Year 7 to investigate coastal processes and management.
