LETRS

LETRS (including Early Childhood LETRS) is the professional development program FPS has chosen from the list of MDE-approved READ Act literacy trainings. Beginning in 2024, districts must offer one of the approved trainings to employees who are required to complete the training. Completion of the training is the responsibility of the educator. For more information on the READ Act professional development requirements, see the MDE webpage that is regularly updated.
