The Franklin & Marshall baseball team (16-12, 2-4 CC) looks to get back into the win column, facing two Centennial Conference (CC) opponents this week. F&M plays a road game at Ursinus (17-9, 4-2 CC) on Wednesday, before hosting the Bears at Caplan Field on Friday with both games starting at 3:30 p.m. The Diplomats then travel for a doubleheader against McDaniel (12-14-1, 3-3 CC) on Saturday, beginning at noon.

Franklin & Marshall splits its two-game set with Haverford last week, but was swept in Saturday's doubleheader at Swarthmore.
In F&M's 8-7 victory over Haverford on Friday, Dan Galef recorded his 21st-career win to become the all-time winningest pitcher in program history. Galef tossed eight strikeouts, while allowing four earned runs in six innings of work to secure the victory.
After trailing 3-0 early in the contest, F&M rallied to take an 8-4 advantage in the seventh inning. The Fords made a late push with three runs in the ninth, but Haverford left the tying run stranded on third base to end the game. Last Time vs. Ursinus
The Diplomats registered a 9-6 victory at home against Ursinus last season to begin its home-and-home series with the Bears. Trailing 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth, the Diplomats scored four-answered runs to race past UC in the contest. Spencer Berson '24 racked up three hits, while Bobby Falese and Andrew Filippelli recorded two each. Thomas McLaughlin '24 earned his second win of the season as he struck out one and didn't allow a hit in 1.1 inning of relief. Later in the week, F&M tied its single-game home run record by blasting five in a 24-9 win at Ursinus to complete the sweep of the Bears. Hoffman homered twice while Berson, Drew Butera '24, and Nolan McCloskey each hit one out in the win. In addition to hitting his second-career grand slam, Berson recorded a career-high six RBI in the contest. Hoffman followed by bringing in five in the victory. The Diplomats split its doubleheader on the road at McDaniel last season, claiming a 4-3 win in game one, before falling in game two, 3-2. With the win in game one, head coach Ryan Horning earned his 200th-career victory. Galef earned the win on the mound for his fourth of the year - striking out two and allowing two earned runs in six innings. Ursinus Team Preview
The Bears bring a three-game winning streak into Wednesday's contest with the Diplomats. The Bears defeated Swarthmore, 3-2, last Friday to split its series with the Garnet. UC then swept McDaniel on Saturday, taking game one, 9-2, before downing the Green Terror, 10-5, in game two. Brandon Sullivan leads the Bears with a .410 batting average, .995 OPS and .585 on-base percentage. Peter Balos holds the team-lead in total bases with 45, while sporting a team-best four home runs. Meanwhile, Andrew Richter has a team-high 27 RBI this year. Pitcher Kieran Hollander boasts a 2.21 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 40.2 innings pitched.
