Conferences

As education is evolving, the one constant has been parent/teacher, student/teacher conferences. These play a role in connecting parents to their students learning. It is also a time when parents and/or teacher state their concerns, praise, and thoughts as they pertain to their student. Though the most common conference type is those that are done at the student's school, if the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that technology is taking over. The use of technology has taken schools under control the past ten years. There may be times when parents work two jobs and do not have the time to drive all the way to school to sit across from me and discuss their child. I believe that by bringing technology, especially video conferencing into the classroom, you are showing parents that you care, and respect their communcation needs.
