Students learn how to creatively combine areas of visual art, design, and digital graphics. These areas are applied with computer graphic skills using Adobe Illustrator involving the Elements and Principles of Design. Projects such as poster and logo designs begin with drawing basics and then allow students to combine their visual art skills with their computer graphic skills. Students will also investigate the technological changes within the graphic design field and explore digital graphics careers.

Prerequisite: successful completion of Digital Design 1. *This course will be offered for the 2022-2023 school year. Students learn advanced digital design techniques using additional graphics software included in the Adobe Creative Suite along with Wacom Tablets to produce graphic art. Students will continue to creatively apply the Elements and Principles of Design to their computer graphics projects. Projects can include typography, advertisements, books, and various forms of vector art. Students will gain the understanding of how to work and attain a career in the graphic design field.
