IEP Process

IEP meetings will continue to be held via ZOOM

Assessments will need to be completed

Assessment plans will need to be sent home within the first 15 days of the new school year

Our offer of FAPE will remain focused on when students return to the classroom

In the notes, we will make a clear offer of the program and services being offered through Distance Learning - it will look similar to a Home Hospital IEP

A copy of the Virtual Academy and Hybrid Model will need to be attached to the IEP

If parents prefer to delay the assessment process until the student is back in school, we will hold the IEP like an annual, call it an annual/triennual, and make reference of parents' request in the notes - get the request in writing signed and dated

The Pandemic is not a reason for retention, increase SAI and services if necessary
