MWL is committed to providing good quality, accessible tutoring to VCE students from participating underrepresented schools. We do, however, understand that you, as a potential tutor, might have extensive tutoring experience and/or are exceedingly busy. We want to make tutor onboarding as easy as possible so you can swiftly make a positive contribution to the educational experiences of young people. All we ask, is that watch the short comprehensive training video available below:
This is the only compulsory MWL Training Module. Once you have finished watching this, continue working through the Tutor Onboarding Checklist and finally complete the Tutor Sign Up Form!
Once you’ve completed and logged 10 hours of volunteer tutoring, you’ll have earnt a Melbourne Plus Credential – a digital credential you can attach to your CV and share with your network – on LinkedIn perhaps. Remember, EWB is a globally recognised charity. You’re certain to catch the eye of your employers by sharing your affiliation with the organisation!
We will email you instructions for obtaining your Melbourne Plus Credential once you have successfully reached 10 hours of volunteer tutoring.
