Head Lice

The Eden Valley-Watkins School District policy is that students with live lice not attend school until they have been treated and no live lice are seen.  As far as the nits go, once a student has been treated with the parents working on removing the nits and monitoring the situation a student my return to school. We allow up to 24 hours to treat active live lice. Below are some resources. Contact the School Nurse if you find that your child/ren have live lice or nits so we can also monitor the situation and communicate to others (staff, parents, bus company, & etc.) as needed.
