2nd Grade

Building on what 1st grade has done, 2nd graders learn about being good digital citizens as well as good real-world citizens. Students are encouraged to memorize their logins and passwords so they no longer need to use their cards to sign in. 

In second grade we start to work on projects and do more and more collaborative work. Students continue to use various Google tools that were introduced in first grade, but Google Slides are introduced towards the end of the year.  

We take various "trips" around the world using virtual tours and Google Maps. They are introduced to researching by visiting national zoos around the country online. Then using research to record information into a Google Doc.
