is exploring the world of Python Coding. Students will be writing code to help navigate a player through a game called Ozaria as they Think Like a Coder.
students will be exploring writing code with Microbits. Once they understand how to program them, they will then begin writing code for the cars for the microbits and begin writing programs as their cars race around the room! It's chaos, but it's fun!
is learning to code through code.org's Dance Party program. They will be writing code to make their characters move, dance, and perform various moves in time to the beat of the music.
will be solving code bugs in Finding Treasure with Laurel
will be finding patterns and sequencing directions to write code efficiently as well as solving potential "bugs" in the system if / when the program is not running as it should.
is still getting the hang of "click, hold, drag" and will be using that building block to do many wonderful problem solving techniques as they learn that each set of directions must be in a specific sequence, and must be correct in order for the code to work properly.
