EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Cascadia Tech Academy

Programs offered to Juniors and Seniors and prepares students for the work force by offering students the opportunity to be trained in technical career areas.  See your Counselor for more information.

Running Start

A program in which high school juniors and seniors take courses at Clark College as part of their high school program. Successful completion of college level courses (numbered 100 or higher) yields college credit and can also be used to satisfy high school requirements. Talk to your Counselor for more information.


HeLa High School

Open to students in the Evergreen School District who want their education to have a focus on health care with an emphasis on math and science.

Legacy High School

Offers a combination of class types, including in class and online. Legacy is on a trimester schedule and students have the opportunity to recover credits. Legacy application.

Open Doors Program is a program at Legacy that provides students with the opportunity to earn a diploma or GED through an alternative option. Must be significantly credit deficient.

Credit Recovery Options

EPS offers summer school courses, most are for credit recovery, however Health and PE are usually offered for credit advancement, as well as Traffic Safety Education throughout the year. Fee required.

Apex-an online credit recovery program for juniors and seniors through Thunder Academy. Talk to your counselor about this option.

Alternative Options

Washington Youth Academy 

A 5 month long state-run residential program housed in Bremerton, WA for students at-risk of not graduating, ages 16-19. Students learn self-discipline, leadership and self-esteem while completing up to 8 academic credits. Students must be drug-free upon enrollment. This program is free. Applications are available online. Program entrance dates are twice per year in January and July.

Washington Virtual Academy

(WAVA) uses the K12 online curriculum to offer Washington students in grades K-12 an online learning experience.

Job Corps

 A tuition-free residential training and education program that connects low income students ages 16-21 with the skills and educational opportunities needed to establish a career. Cascades Academy focuses on Healthcare or Information Technology.
