Counseling Vision Statement:

The vision of the Mountain View High School comprehensive school counseling program is to create students who are exceptional members of society.  They are a testament to Philanthropy, Resourcefulness, Integrity, Determination, and Equitable decision making.  In demonstrating their resiliency and social-emotional skills, students will forge their life’s path with confidence and the determination to reach their full potential and become a productive member of society.

Counseling Mission Statement:

The mission of the Mountain View High School counseling department is to promote academic and personal excellence by supporting the whole student where they are at on their educational journey.  By delivering data-informed individual, small-group, and classroom lessons, all students receive the support and guidance to perform rigorous work in preparation of their future lives.  By actively partnering with school administration and staff, counselor leadership creates an environment of inclusion and safety so that students may access their education to become empathetic critical-thinkers and productive members of society.
