The Department of School Improvement & Accountability provides strategic leadership to enhance student achievement, equity, and continuous improvement across all schools. We ensure compliance with performance standards and regulations while promoting accountability, collaboration, and alignment with district goals. Our team coordinates federal and state programs, fostering cultural responsiveness and delivering high-quality support to students, families, and school communities.Our department oversees programs that support reading, math, and social-emotional learning for students in need of additional support.
School Improvement and Accountability oversees our Assessment Department, in service of guiding data-driven decisions as an important part of continuous school improvement. In partnership with school teams, we ensure that students have the experience, understanding, and tools they need to show their progress and set goals toward their continual growth and achievement of learning standards.
