How do I view my class schedule?
Learn more about it at the ctcLink Account page.
How do I attend classes?
Please view your class schedule to determine how you will attend on the first day of the term.
Web-Enhanced – In-person learning
Web-Enhanced classes are on-campus classes that are enhanced by web-based tools (Canvas or otherwise).
Online - TBA – strictly online no scheduled meetings.
If your class indicates "online" and the days/times indicate "TBA" it means the class is completely online. Online is a course that uses web-based tools where 100% of the instruction and interaction between instructor and student is done online. Your instructor will require that you submit your assignments on time and by the specified due date.
Refer to your class syllabus for more information.
Remote Teaching – a combination of online and remote learning
If the class indicates "Remote Teaching" and has days/times listed, you will need to log in and meet with your class virtually during this time. These meetings are mandatory and missing them can adversely affect your grade.
Refer to your class syllabus for more information.
Hybrid Teaching – a combination of online and in-person learning
Hybrid is a course that displaces some, but not all face-to-face class time with web-based tools. Classes are spent in an online learning environment, however, designated meetings in a traditional classroom setting are scheduled at least once a month/three times per quarter. These meetings are mandatory and missing them can adversely affect your grade.
Refer to your class syllabus for more information.
How do I buy my books this term?
Students should visit www.clarkbookstore.com to find the required course materials.
Is attendance mandatory on the first day of the term?
Yes, review your schedule for the correct date and the time your class meets, and be sure you attend. You might be dropped from the class by the instructor if you fail to attend class on the first day of the term.
If I take an online course, is it required to attend class on the first day of the term?
Yes, you will need to attend class in Canvas. If you do not attend one or more class sessions or fail to log in to Canvas on the first day of the term, you may be dropped from the class by your instructor. However, not all instructors drop students from classes when students do not attend.

How to attend my online classes?
You are required to log into Canvas, our learning management system, to get started with any Course Orientation provided by your professors. When you log into Canvas, you will arrive at the Dashboard. If your courses have been published, you will have access to a “card” representing each of the courses you are registered for. Professors will publish their courses by Monday at 8 a.m., so you may not have access to your courses prior to that time. Some professors send Announcements and Inbox Messages from Canvas to your emails, so be sure to watch for information about your classes.
How do I set up and access Canvas?
To access Canvas, go directly to the Canvas Login Screen You will need your ctcLink ID (9-digit #) and password to log in
Instructions on how to login to Canvas through ctcLink
How can I learn more about using Canvas?
At the Canvas login screen, click the Canvas Student Orientation link at the bottom. This self-paced, ungraded orientation will introduce you to the technical requirements for Canvas, navigating your Canvas account and your courses, various methods of communicating both with your professor and with your classmates, and several other features you will use this term.
I have never taken an online course or remote course before. Whom can I talk to if I am stuck?
The first person you should communicate with regarding your course is your professor. If your question is related to the course content, your professor will be able to assist you. Your instructor will list their preferred method of communication in their syllabus.
To locate your instructor’s email address, you can use the Faculty Directory.
If you are having difficulty contacting your instructor, you can contact the academic department.
If your question is technical, let your professor know you are experiencing difficulties, and then connect with TechHub for more assistance. TechHub provides centralized technical support for Clark College students related to logging in to your Canvas account. They can also help navigate Canvas and other online resources including MyClark@ctcLink and MyClark@Clark. Our technicians can help with software, computer devices, and accounts provided by Clark College. You can contact TechHub by emailing them at techhub@clark.edu.
