NEW! Video for Teachers with program updates & reminders!
Fill out the Teacher Classroom Information Form before your classroom lesson.
Experience a Classroom Lesson presentation from Escondido Creek Conservancy staff.
Send home and collect the Student Permission Slip. This is a joint permission slip that notes both EUSD and The Escondido Creek Conservancy.
Teachers, bring signed permission slips to the field trip. Our team will make copies and return them to you same day. You can also scan your permission slips and email them to laurel@escondidocreek.org. Please do not make copies/duplicates of each signed permission slip for the Conservancy to keep. We want to save paper & trees. 🌳
Send the Escondido Creek Conservancy's Chaperone Liability Waiver to the parent/guardians who are chaperoning (not all parents)
Notify the school nurse (backpack, medications, 504s, etc.)
Secure chaperones and communicate Chaperone Expectations (scroll down to review).
Notify Laurel at laurel@escondidocreek.org if you have students requiring special accommodations
Divide your students into groups using the How-to: Group Your Students Presentation (3-slides). View the guide below, too!
Make name tags for students and include their name, group number, and a big RED DOT (🔴) if they cannot be photographed.
