Generally, the teacher and/or staff who work with the student would be able to provide the most information about the student and areas of concern, however anyone is welcome to submit a referral for support
Please note, if you are a parent seeking support for your child in the school setting, it is recommended you speak with your school team about having them submit the Referral for Consultation form, as a first step
Additionally, you are welcome to contact the Metro Region ASD Network Coordinator, Teri McGill (tmcgill@esu3.org) for additional information, resources, and any questions
To submit a request for consultation and/or support please complete the Referral for Consultation form.

Please note that the Request for Consultation form cannot be submitted without the signed signature page uploaded to the form
Provide the requested information on the form
Once complete, hit submit and the Metro Region ASD Team will be notified of your submitted request for consultation
The Metro Region ASD Coordinator will review your request for consultation
You may receive an email with any additional questions or information that may be needed
A time will be scheduled to come out to conduct an observation and meet with the team about next steps of support
It is preferred, the whole team be present for this meeting to discuss the top areas of focus determined in the referral, roles, expectations, etc. for moving forward

The NE ASD Network is funded through a federal grant and must provide annual reports, regarding services provided
Team information and concerns typically change from year to year as well, making an updated referral necessary
Yes, we can provide support, even if the student does not specifically have an Autism verification
