Mission:
The Mission of the Metro Region Autism team is to empower school districts, teams, and families by providing them with information, resources and training in current, research-based ASD strategies.
What does the Metro Region ASD Network do?
Upon request, the Metro Region ASD Network provides consultation and support for the following categories:
Conducting appropriate assessments to determine educational identification of ASD
Identifying appropriate goals for Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
Selecting and implementing appropriate strategies and interventions for students
Training for local school districts, educational service units, and parents of children with ASD
Technical assistance

Who does the Metro Region ASD Network support?
The Metro Region ASD Network provides consultation supports to school districts in ESU #3, ESU #2, and ESU #19
How do I request consultation services?
*Please see the checklist on the Referral Process page for the supports that need to be in place prior submitting a request for consultation services*
To submit a request for consultation and/or support please complete the Referral for Consultation form.
Steps for completion:
Download the form to your computer
Provide the requested information by typing it into the fields on the form OR print the referral form and complete by hand
Email the completed form to the Metro Region ASD Coordinator, Teri McGill at tmcgill@esu3.org OR fax the completed form to the attention of Teri McGill at (402) 597-4811.
