Student Pass Cancellation

When you cease or terminate your studies, you should cancel your Student’s Pass (STP), and surrender the STP card (if you were issued a physical STP card) for cancellation within seven days.

You may cancel your STP if you have a Singpass account. You should submit the application at least 3 working days before the expiry of the STP. You may submit an application by using this e-Service.

If you do not have a Singpass account, please contact the ESSEC APAC Pre-arrival team (sg.pre-arrival@essec.edu) for assistance. 

For students who need to stay in Singapore beyond the student's pass validity period:

Please note that there is no arrangement for extension of your student pass.  

Upon cancellation of your STP, you may be granted a Short-Term Visit Pass that allows you to stay for a period of time before you have to exit the country.
