Learning expeditions

The Chair partners had the opportunity to participate in the Learning Expedition 2012 which was held in Montreal, Quebec. Quebec companies Bombardier, St. Catherine Desjardins, Molson Coors, Canadian National and Sobey received the French business partners of the Chair under a "learning walk".


We welcomed these companies in 2013. So we had the pleasure to show our cousins ​​the French Quebec expertise in change management. Companies that have received the delegation of Quebec companies are: Societe Generale, AG2R La Mondiale, SNCF, RTE, CNP Assurances, La Poste.


The ESSEC Chair of Change to organize for its partner companies, a shipping Learning in Beijing, China from 26 to 30 May 2014. This expedition Learning was an opportunity to meet with Chinese companies but also of French companies in China and the opportunity to participate in Peking University in the Social Audit of Congress allowing an exchange with many leaders and human resources director of Chinese companies. Lecture by Professor CHEN Jian (deputy permanent chairman of the Center of Shenzhen Studies of Renmin University of China), on "The current economic situation of China and its tendency" and exchanges with the G50 - 50 heads Chinese companies and officials on "economic reform and change management in the enterprise"


The ESSEC Chairs of change and complexity have organized for their members Learning expedition on 14 and 15 May 2015 in Marrakech, Morocco. We were greeted by the University of Marrakech and Professor Chafik Bentaleb. The central theme is the understanding of the practical management of transformation and change in an emerging economy. This learning expedition was the opportunity to visit the Moroccan companies and talk with them but also to participate in an exchange with Moroccan HR on the occasion of the International Meeting of Management Sciences.


IMSG and ESSEC Chair of Change Management organize a Learning expedition 17, 18 and 19 May 2016 in Geneva.The IMSG will be our host and co-organizer of this event. We will be welcomed at the new Life Sciences Campus Geneva:http://www.campusbiotech.ch/


The learning expedition took place from May 29 to June 2, 2017 in Montreal with the visit of the following companies: Bank of Canada, Monument Factory, Cirque du Soleil, Sainte Justine Hospital, Hydro Quebec, the Arts and Technologies Society and the Tech3 laboratory. This program was developed by Valérie Lehmann, Jean-Francois Nantel and Kevin Johnson.
