Description: This session is for both caregivers and educators. Join us for this engaging virtual evening session designed to support families in creating meaningful and consistent reading habits at home. This session will focus on the power of establishing simple, effective reading routines that fit into your family’s daily life.
Participants will explore how goal setting and celebrating progress can motivate children and make reading a positive, rewarding experience. The session will also provide explicit, practical examples of how to use “replacement behaviors” to build consistent reading time—helping families shift from less productive habits to purposeful reading practice.
Parents and caregivers will leave with easy-to-use strategies, helpful tools, and accessible resources to support their child’s reading development. By the end of the session, families will feel empowered and confident in their ability to start, maintain, and reinforce strong reading routines at home.
