In-person sessions held at the ESC-20 Conference Center, 1314 Hines Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78208
Region 20 is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted within the perimeter fences.
Conference Center Evacuation procedures located within facility in event of drills or notification.
Children are not permitted at the center

Register in advance for training.
Zoom link provided after registering for a session. Save the Zoom link to electronic calendar or copy of training schedule.

Please do not attend Zoom from a motor vehicle when attending virtual training. Stay safe.
Please be on time. When commuting home safety is priority, we understand if you are a few minutes late.
Camera is required to receive credit when attending virtual training. Camera ON displaying candidate headshot.
Candidate must be present, actively engaged and stationary inside a building structure. This means not being outside moving from home to another location, including cooking, doing laundry, talking to others. Limit distractions as much as possible.
Be conscientious of attire worn and positioning when participating in video conference format.
If desktop has two screen monitors allows for greater ease in participating in the session. Or have two devices. One to type and the other for utilizing camera with Zoom.
Candidates are encouraged to have writing items for sessions.
Google Chrome browser required for virtual training sessions.
Complete attendance link at the end of virtual training session to receive credit for training.
A private chat will be sent to the candidate if not meeting virtual expectations.
Presenter or facilitator will exit candidate from Zoom session should candidate not respond to private chat and not comply with the request to meet virtual training expectations. Credit for attendance will not be granted.

Be on time. Arrival fifteen (15) minutes after the start of class will be permitted to attend, however will receive half (1/2) credit for the session.
Missed coursework due to absences and tardies may result in not meeting 300-hour coursework requirement.
Make-up coursework may not be available during the academic schoolyear and only available during the summer.
Limited bonus hours.
When a session consists of a full 6.0 hour day (virtual/in-person), lunch 1 hour, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Cell phones should be placed on off, silent/vibrate when attending training.
Phone calls should be completed quickly.
Refrain from testing during training.
Be present. Grading papers, surfing internet, etc. can wait till later.
Should presenter request for devices to be put away, please comply.

Candidate/Intern Accountability
Upload of completed certificates from CONNECT20 to TOPP Profile regularly. TOPP Profile reflects the candidate/intern progress with the program.
