The Innovation Station
We explored the new school library in the Innovation Station during Scottish Book Week. It was great to get an opportunity to update and swap the books in our class library.
We also used the time in the Innovation Station to add our class chapter to the whole-school story book. We are looking forward to reading the final version of the book to see if our character, Carly the Carrot, can help save the day in the fight against the Evil Onion!
PE
The cold weather didn't stop the class from enjoying some time on the MUGA.
We enjoyed our trip to Eaglesham Library. June the librarian was impressed with the class' knowledge about the Scottish Wars of Independence and sent us away with some books about Scottish history. Thanks to the mums who came with us to help out.
Our Olympics Assembly
Our class assembly aimed at sharing information about minibeasts and the Olympic Games went very well. Everyone in the class gave an excellent performance in their individual roles. I was very proud of each and every one of the performers and hope that all the family members in the audience were too!
PE - Possession Games
The class have been developing their skills for competing in possession games in PE. There were lots of red faces by the end of our PE session after all the running around to find space to receive a pass.
