Please note: if you already have a Khan Academy (KA) account, and it is defined as a teacher account, you do not need to create a new one.

Suggestion: select grade levels based on your student roster, and courses if applicable (such as Algebra I, AP Calculus AB, etc…).
Consider including SAT for test prep.
Tip: Name each class so that it is easy to know which grade level and/or subject level it is, and use A, B, C, etc… to create sub-groups iff necessary within each grade level.
Khan Academy provides 3 choices for adding students to your class:
i) Import from Google Classroom (if you do not have a Google Classroom, skip)
ii) Invite students to join your “KA Class” by sending an email to each students. This choice is ideal if students already have a KA account; if they do not have a KA account, this email option will still work: they will have to click on the link they will receive by email and will have to create their “Learner” account.
iii) Create a KA account for them (recommended for students 12 and under, particularly if parents/guardians are unable to set up the account for them; however, it is strongly recommended that the parents create their own “Parent” account, and the “Learner” account for their children, and link them so that they may monitor progress, provide support, etc…). If you wish to create the account for some of your students, the process follows:
Please note: You may add each student to more than one class (for example, a student may be in your Algebra I class, and in your Algebra II class as well so that you may differentiate their instruction when exploring more advanced topics, etc…).
