156B Week 8

Week 8 Accomplishments:

The majority of parts were received from McMaster to begin assembly of the test rig. Several adjustments had to be made in the assembly process as the parts didn't fit flush as well in the CAD. In the end after grinding and bending, the test rig c-channels fit well and were ready to be sealed for pressure tests. CAD to mount the latch style clamps was also accomplished.

Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Due by sponsor meeting on Wednesdays.

1. Finish assembly of the test rig platform and permanent fixture at the bottom - Anyone/Everyone

2. Begin setup of the test rig platform for testing.

1. After grinding down parts and making manual adjustments, how confident will we be that we can seal it properly to give an accurate result for our pressure tests.
