The undermount toggle clamp is a commercial off-the-shelf product that is rated to apply up to 800 lbf of force which is enough to compress the selected gasket to up to 50 percent of its original thickness. This clamp, along with a latch style clamp as a plausible solution, were tested on the vacuum test platform to measure their installation and removal time. This clamp was also subjected to a pressure/vacuum test to further determine if the clamps will work for the ancillary inlet flange. 

The clamp will provide the compression force on the flange to create an airtight seal. This design solution will replace the bolts currently used on the system.

The neoprene foam gasket is a commercial off-the-shelf product that is rated for general weather proofing of enclosures. The material is hyper-elastic and is able to compress down to 50% of its original thickness with minimal force. This gasket was tested as a plausible solution due to its ease of deflection as well as affordability. It is also fairly simple to install due to its adhesive backing.
