156B Week 3

Overview of Status

• TR-19 only requires a few more items before it will be able to be driven. Initial circuit design is completed and parts were ordered.

Accomplishments from Previous Week

• TR-19 engine started and able to idle on it's own for extended periods

• Measured crank position sensor and fuel injector signals on a running engine with an oscilloscope

• Purchased electrical components for risk reduction tests

• Designed and printed accelerometer housing

• Ordered retaining ring/wheel speed sensor mounts from machine shop

Goals for Next Week

• Perform risk reduction tests

• Code control loop in a microcontroller

• Finish preparing TR-19 for driving

• Design and print additional mounts

• Install traction control system on car

• Testing of circuits may be challenging. We will take time to ensure our physical circuits match what is represented in the diagrams we have designed.
