The design proposal presentation is completed. TR-19 had its first successful engine start, and a few more maintenance items need to be done before testing can commence.
The team met with Steve Roberts and the FSAE electrical team to receive feedback on circuit designs. Designs were modified based on the feedback and presented in class.
Purchase fuel and spark circuit components and perform physical testing.
None
It was suggested to use MOSFETs instead of relays in the fuel circuit, so this change was made to the design.
None
The performance of the two designed circuits is a current risk, but testing will occur during risk 3 to mitigate the issues.
None
The next milestone is purchasing and performing physical risk reduction tests on the fuel and spark circuits.
