Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • CAD Model for behavioral and home chambers are done

  • We have confirmed that we can use a jigsaw to cut the behavioral chamber

• • Make sure we have all the parts for the behavioral chamber from Prototyping lab

  • Work on building first prototype

    • Laser cut and assemble the behavioral chamber

    • Modify the home chamber to fit the slide in adaptor

    • 3D print / laser cut adapter pieces 

  • Order any other parts we still need

  • Have a solid plan for the water delivery system

Risks and Areas of Concern

• • We need to make sure that the slide in adapter on the home cage slides in better and works well with our PVC tube that will be attached

    • If there are any gaps or misalignments, the rats might be able to chew on the 3D printed material

  • The water bottle connected must be modified in order to account for the error in the current bottle
