Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
We have incorporated a constant force spring into the G-machine design. Allows for the G-machine to be orientated against gravity.
A hall effects sensor has been assimilated into the G-machine as well to be used as a position sensor.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Built a prototype of the new G-machine.
From there we have built an even newer model with some slight improvements to the geometry and function.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Test new G-machine in the lab on human tendons.
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Unfortunately, our sponsor hurt his back and we were unable to meet with him this past Monday.
We have rescheduled our meeting for next Monday, March 4th.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Pedro suggested to have a prototype of our new G-machine up and running for hardware demo.
We feel that we have accomplished this.
Also made some suggestions to improve our final report. We have made not of these suggestions and will use them in improving our final report.
Risks and Areas of Concern
That the force of the current spring being used will be too great of a force for the tendons.
