Week 2

Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Decided to purchase AC motor to begin tests on measuring wind speed

  • Began learning Pro/E to start designing the new Wind-Clik

Accomplishments from Previous Week

• • Met with Isaiah, and found that there weren't any old AC motors in the component room

  • Reverse Engineered a part given to us by Hunter using Pro/E

  • Researched buying AC motors

• • Work on and complete Design Proposal Presentation due next Tuesday - Team Effort

  • Purchase an AC motor and begin testing process - Eric Kenyon

  • Complete Meeting Minutes/Weekly Status email to Sponsor - Eric Abraham

  • Manage and further add detail to website - Isaac Kim

  • Begin design of prototype in Pro/E - Anthony Chong, and others as this will be a group effort

  • Decide other materials which need to be ordered now to begin testing AC motor - Isaac Kim

  • Complete Progress Report and begin looking into first draft of project report - Eric Abraham
