Risks and Areas of Concern
The sponsor possibly wants us to create our own AC motor to measure the wind speed. This will most likely become a secondary goal, as we first plan to buy an AC motor to test and work with. The primary risk is: will a 5mph wind be strong enough to overcome the minimum torque required generate an electrical current from the AC motor?
The team will have to learn to get used to 3D modelling in Pro/E. To do this each of us will reverse engineer a part.
