Newsletter 2021-11

Dear colleagues,

EESW21

We would like to draw your attention to the 25 papers that have recently been uploaded to the ENBES website:

EESW21 Programme

These papers formed the scientific content of this year's European Establishment Statistics Workshop, held on September 14-17. Authors of these contributions have agreed to make their work available on ENBES's website to share new developments and foster cooperation between establishment statistics methodologists worldwide.

BDCM

The Sixth international Business Data Collection Methodology (BDCM) workshop, to be held on 13-15 June, 2022, at Statistics Norway, Oslo, has issued a call for abstracts:

The BDCM workshops offer an informal and interactive setting for discussing research, issues, and experiences associated with collecting data from and about businesses and organizations.

In June 2022, the 6th workshop, hosted by Statistics Norway, will take place in Oslo.

The BDCM are inviting you to submit an abstract. While submissions on a wide range of topics are welcome, for the next workshop they especially invite contributions on:

- Questionnaire design, development strategies and pre-testing practices;

- Experiments in business surveys;

- New technological developments, for instance data collection solutions where data are transferred machine to machine (M2M) or system to system (S2S);

- Business survey communication issues; and

- Lessons learned from managing data collection in a pandemic.

Participation is free of charge but limited to 50 people, with no more than two individuals per organization.

If you are interested in presenting at the Workshop, please send an abstract to;
