Identify Roman values based upon the details of the origin myth. Compare and contrast different tellings of the myth including discrepancies or contrary details.
Use the slides (and the audio files above "First There Were Kings") to study the early Roman kings and their deeds. Identify Roman values based upon the stories, actions of the kings & the Roman peoples (especially the nobles).
Note that the society becomes divided into classes or castes, particularly Patrician and Plebeians.
