Vocational Education

The EMUHSD offers Vocational Education courses for students planning to enter the workforce or attend a college. Courses are offered to EMUHSD students in a traditional classroom format while others provide an out-of-classroom experience consisting of a unpaid internship opportunity. Vocational Occupational classes can provide exposure and training in a chosen occupational field and helps students develop successful attitudes and work habits. Courses are worth five elective credits per semester towards high school graduation or ten elective credits for participants who successfully accrue enough hours in an internship hours.
