Career Readiness

Career readiness is a concept aimed at preparing students for success for life after high school graduation, including postsecondary education, modern jobs or career paths. Both college educators and employers are looking for similar knowledge, skills, and aptitudes, including the broad array of skills often called “21st century skills.” Core competencies such as collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving are needed to help students thrive in today's world, no matter which career path is taken.
