This project aims to equip students from rural schools in Nsawam's Eastern Region with essential digital tools and Japanese-inspired skills for sustainable futures. Drawing on the July 2025 Japan-Ghana MoU for "Green TVET. I’d like to seek help from Japanese organizations towards promoting sustainable development. Either through investment towards equipment or help in implementing a curriculum that would help prepare students to be global citizens.

This project is deeply meaningful to me because it brings together two regions that have deeply shaped my identity, world views and goals : Asia and Africa. I have spent much of my life moving between the two continents and through those experiences I have been able to witness first hand the challenges and incredible potential that can arise when the communities and cultures unite in partnership. In addition, my time in international schools taught me that the world is more vast and interconnected than we know, which is why I would like to share this global awareness with the students of SOD to contribute to meaningful change.
This project aligns directly with my professional aspirations. I hope to build a career centered on strengthening partnerships between Asian and Africa, and eventually open my own consulting firm focused on Asian-African collaboration. By working to connect Asian institutions with the educational institutions of Ghana, I am gaining real-life experience in acting as a liaison between the two regions.
The idea came to me as I visited one of our assigned school and got made aware of certain necessities. Namely access to science material and basic infrastructures. These issues directly impact students sanitary needs and ultimately hinders their right to education. In this context I will be brought to interact with JICA in Ghana and teachers on the ground.
