Welcome to our school’s guide to the Emery School District’s 6 Pillars of Student Success! As a Mustang family, we believe in giving our elementary students the real-world "superpowers" they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

What Are the 6 Pillars?

Why Our District Values These Pillars Emery School District focuses on these six core character traits because academic success is only one piece of the puzzle. By instilling these values early, we equip our young learners with the foundational social, emotional, and practical skills needed to grow into confident, capable, and compassionate lifelong leaders.

How They Are Taught in School These pillars aren't just posters on our wall—they are integrated into our daily routines, classroom conversations, and school-wide expectations.

To help bring these concepts to life, our school social worker, Mrs. Karen, visits classrooms regularly to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Through interactive stories, superhero-themed activities, and group discussions, Mrs. Karen helps students understand what each pillar looks like in action and how they can practice these superpowers every single day!

Under the Citizenship Pillar our classes created a Class Charter.  Ask them about it?  Also down below is information on how to create one for your family.  If your family makes when, let your teacher know and they will be able to pick from Mrs. Karens treasure box.  

The mood meter is under Responibility and Resilence Pillar.  Each student is aware of these tool.  We would love to have you as a parent understand the moot meter and the metamoment and utlize these tools in your home.  You can go to "What is RULER" in the tabs and look around to see how you can use it at home too!
