Emanuel School is a community where individual and collective interests are nurtured and pursued. The extra-curricular activities and social action causes at Emanuel School have provided me with a moral compass that I will use to guide me for the rest of my life.

Sara is a deep-thinking, motivated student, who is known for her kind and compassionate nature. She believes that March of the Living had a positive impact on her Jewish identity and expanded her understanding of what it means to be Jewish in the 21st century.

Sara feels her power of quieter observation has been more valuable than striving to be in the limelight, increasing her awareness and understanding of events around her. “There are perks to being a wallflower,” she said.

Sara is comfortable being an individual and a teacher suggested that her theme song could be I Did it My Way. Sara is a driven and passionate learner who challenges herself to achieve. Her friends describe her as a kind, dependable friend with a great sense of humour.
